Omer Ben David is a director of commercials, music videos, dance videos, sketch, and film.

His clients include Ikea (for whom he directed a Cannes Lion winning spot), Goldstar, and Loreal Paris. He’s directed music videos for A-WA and Tipex, sketches for Tonight with Guri Alfi, video dance for the Kibbutz Dance Company, and award-winning films.

Many of his projects have crossed the million-view-mark and yielded exceptional results for his clients.

Omer grew up on the American cinema of the 1990s, and believes in applying his rich cinematic language to every story and project he directs, in order to give the viewer a precise and powerful experience.

Whether through powerful visuals, varied camera moves, original editing and use of music, or the precise direction of actors – his work spans humor, emotion and tension.

Omer has a background in scriptwriting studies from the Edith Schori School, as well as film degrees from Tel Aviv University and the prestigious Columbia University in New York.

During his studies, he made four short films, screening them at the Jerusalem Film Festival, Raindance, and LA Shorts, among others. His most recent, Quality Time, won three prizes at a film festival in Tel Aviv.

In the past Omer also produced, shot and edited, giving him an expansive view of every project from the planning stages to final delivery.

Alongside his commercial work, Omer is hard at work on a television series and his first feature film.
