Laliv Sivan
Laliv is an Israeli Academy Award winning director, screenwriter and actress. A graduate of the Tisch School for Film and Television at Tel Aviv University and Hamidrasha at Beit Berl College Faculty of Arts, Laliv directs television and commercials.
She focuses on impactful, emotional storytelling through the use of careful camera movement and stage direction, including work with non-actors.
She earned her stripes in television as a second unit director on several major action series, and her experience as an actress and artist helps her achieve stylized results, layered with references, adapted to several genre.
Laliv is a social activist - as a member of a collective called _____, she creates and directs satirical videos for the web on burning social issues, many of which have gone viral.
Her 2022 TV show "Special," was awarded at MIPCOM in Cannes, nominated for nine Israeli TV Academy Awards (including Best Drama), and won the Best Director award.
Laliv has acted in television, film and theater. In 2018, she won Best Actress at the Haifa International Film Festival, and was nominated for an Ophir Prize, for her role in Love Trilogy: Stripped.
